Friendship

What is friendship? Why do so many people throw it away with not even a glance backwards?

I have found myself feeling like days of old, where someone gets mad or upset and therefore they have no problem turning their back on someone they called friend. It is amazing to me that someone you love as family, can so easily write you off. I know that the friends I have(or had) are Christian. Apparently, that doesn't mean to others what it means to me. We are supposed to love like God loves. Unconditional love. Not always easy, but that is what we are supposed to strive for. Where is turning your back on people and getting between someone and their long term friends fit into God's idea of love? Should you feed the frustrations of your friends, or allow them to work it out? We are not perfect, but there are just simple things that friends should (or should not) do. If one friend drops the ball, that shouldn't open the door for someone else to feed mistruths that will separate friends within the circle more for their own gain. Mean girl(s) seems to be a good title for how life feels right now. Seems that drama doesn't stay in high school.
